Heather and Joe (Rehersal Dinner)

Heather and Joe had thier rehersal dinner last night at the Tecklenburg Ranch in Clemets.

Here are some of the shots from the evening.

Heather walking down with her father during pratice. Her mother sitting to the right (--->) with Heather's son Ethan and Joe's mother sitting on the left (<---) with one of her grandson.

Joe with one of his groomsmen Brett get s healthy handshake.

Boys will be boys. Brett, Dave, James and Anthony (just some of the groomsmen).

Heather posing for the camera.

Going in for the kiss -- wait -- not yet you have to wait for the wedding.

Little baby Adi in mommy's arms during the mock ceremony.

Looking so cute being shaded by the wrap.

The bridesmaids gifts = Purple shoes for the wedding, purple earrings for the wedding and bridesmaids/ Maid of honor tanks made by Heather (the bride).

The little cute green bags were for the groomsmen. Chocolates and cuff links for the tuxs.

Part of one of the centerpieces at the dinner. Mama Teck (Lisa) said flowers were picked from the property.

Another centerpiece Tara (bridesmaid and sister of the groom) thought of with rocks a votive candle in a jar with a purple bow. I loved how the wax dripped down the rocks making a little trail.

A flower on the property.

Baby Adi again before we left.

Big smile.

Just playing with my tongue.

Heather's bridal shower

Yesterday the girls got together for Heather's bridal shower. She is to be wed to Joe next Saturday.

One of her bridesmaids (Nicole) made this fondant cake for the shower.

Tara (another bridesmaid) hosted the party in her backyard in Lodi and set the tables with the teal candle party favors, teal candle holder prize give-a-way, purple (the wedding color) flowers and butterscotch discs as a little snack.

The girls dressed Heather up in a lovely gown for her to walk up and down the street while they sang "Going to the chapel and she's gonna get married," while tossing rice. I got the whole thing on video.
Here's the little baby bump.

Serena (another bridesmaid) adding a "ring" on her finger.

And the hair-do from Serena and Jen.

The fondant hearts, bow and flower.

Nicole added two little hearts on the back of the cake and carved in J for Joe and H for Heather.

View from the top.

One of the games was to take Heather's new name (Tecklenburg) and figure our how many words one can find in the name.
Examples:
Tug
Bug
Run
Lug
Keg
Beg
Leg
Ten
Ben
Ken
Knee
Glee
And the list goes on. Tara said when practicing she and some others came up with 80 something.
The other game to answer the most questions right about Heather.
The beverages for the party.
Pineapple starfruit with lemon and the teal cup dipped in teal sugar sprinkles.

The prize bags, teal for the bridal shower party color and purple for the wedding color.

The lemons looked so juicy I had to stop to take the shot.

Studio in a Box: Wedding tidbits

I was playing around with the "Studio in a Box" James got me for Christmas last year. I finally got it out to take better shots of the centerpiece. I also took shots of this blue mug and "just married" luggage tags I got from the Engaged bridal event I went to last Sunday with James, Heather and Joe. Lastly I took some shots with my ring.

Here's what I plan to do for my centerpiece. I'm trying to figure out how to add some sort of flower to it. Maybe where the ribbon connects on the outside of the jar.

And a view from the top.

Just having fun with the stones.

Here's the mug and tags.

Being playful with my ring.

A little close up on the ring.

Welcome: Elle Victoria Reese

My friends Brett and Erika Reese welcomed their first baby into the world today at 10:05 a.m. These are some of my shots (now they are all taken with my iPhone so some are grainy and fuzzy, but I wanted to share them with friends and family) from the day.

Here's her "Brithprints," but I had to add in most of the info and I fixed the rest of the info so it would match.

I can't take claim to this photo -- Tara Phillips took the shot of her daughter, Adi and put it on facebook I just stole in to go along with the blog. Tara has been saying Adi and Elle will be BFF (best friends forever) since she found out Erika was pregnant with a little baby girl.

Here's Elle being taken to the nursery room where she was heated up. She was about 36 degrees.

Daddy Brett loving on his beautiful baby girl.

One of the nurses giving Elle her very first bath. Daddy went back to see Erika, but Heather got some footage on the video camera for the parents.

Erika getting to see Elle for the first time after giving birth. She said she got to hold her for about a minute or so, but Elle and daddy needed to head out while the doctors stitched her up from the c-section.

Mommy and baby Elle.

Daddy helping mommy get a better look a little Elle.

Daddy and baby Elle.

Little Elle bundled up like a Chipotle burrito (says Sara Brookes).

Close up and personal with little Elle.

Daddy and baby Elle again.

Elle and myself, taken by James.

These are Elle's little feet. The photo was a little bit fuzzy, so I made it black and white.
