Twilight Obsession

First on my list of what I've done since falling in love with all things Twilight.

So I saw online that the Twilight mania has gone to candy now. They were only found at FYE stores, which is a store I had never seen before, but online I found one is the Arden Fair mall. I needed to do a few things in Sacramento and I wanted to see if the Disney store was still there, b/c the one in Stockton is now gone =(

Anywho I bought some of the candies, which are the conversations hearts.

Here are two of the boxes (the third was of Bella -- Kristen, but I didn't buy that one).

Here are just a few of the hearts and the saying:
(top from left to right: Live 4 ever, I trust you, Bad guy, Lamb.
Second row from left to right: True love, Soul mate, I <3 EC (Edward Cullen) U R my life.
Bottom row are just the ones that sparkle. All the purple and orange hearts sparkle, but these were two of the ones which really showed the glitter.

Each color have a different flavor
Pink: Secret Strawberry
Purple: Passion Fruit
Orange: Orange Obsession
Red: Tempting Apple

If you can't read them on here (but remember you can click on each picture to see them bigger) then here's a list

The second things is my new car decals. Not all are pictured.

I also have the Cullen crest and I plan on putting it on the back on my car, it's just a bit bigger than what I thought it was.

A third thing was finally finding the Entertainment Weekly magazine. I saw it online (again all I do is surf the net now, since I'm out of school and I only work three days a week. Inside is a teaser for the director of Twilight's book, which is coming out next month (and I already have it pre-ordered).

Here's the cover:

I thought these were gone from stores so I went to EW.com to order the magazine so now I have two, but I'm going to sell one on e-bay. I had to buy one when I saw it in the store b/c even though I ordered the mag online today it's not coming for three or four weeks. I just had to have it now.

Only 24 more days till I have the DVD to watch over and over again.

Birthday

So my birthday is coming up soon (March 4) and I was going through some of my old photos.

I have been trying to find some of my wedding photos. I had a co-worker ask me about prices (which I'm not totally sure what to say for that) and give a CD of some of my past work. I have photos in four different locations.

1. My external hardrive (which is where my oldest photos are)
2. My first computer (which is sitting under the bed and I fear that most of my wedding photos (from 2007) are on that, which is just the tower and not hooked up to anything. (This was James (the b/f) old computer just passed down to me for school. So I could have my own).
3. My second computer -- James bought me this little thingy, which we hooked up to the huge TV. Yup biggest monitor ever (well for me).
4. My laptop. I bought this last summer and I have have the newest stuff on there. It's what I use the most and I wish all my good stuff was on there and the bilk on the external.

Well the reason behind this post is that when I was going through the external photos I found an old birthday photo of me, that I thought was cute. And since my 25th b-day was coming up I figured why not do a post.

I feel like I keep getting older and not much is changing. Now I'm done with school, but I haven't had much luck from finding a job. The economy isn't helping much. The field I work in (journalism and photography) aren't really a flourishing business, but I'm trying. I'm working on using the blog more, signing up for photos based things online (flicker, deviantart, and retouchpro) I have a friend (well a g/f of one of James' friends) who said she'll help pass around my stuff too.

RC racing

James (my b/f) and some of his friends have been racing RC truck in competitions and I had the privilege to join him and two of his friend (and their g/fs) for a race in Sacramento. I took my little camera (Cannon PowerShot), but didn't use the flash so some of the photos were a bit blurry. I picked out some of the best ones and fixed them up in photoshop.

Here are just a few:

Twilight mania

So I had never heard about the Twilight book series, but when the movie came around in Nov. I went with my boyfriend and his parents to see the movie. I loved it (and Robert Pattinson -- he's like the new Orlando Bloom for me -- and if you knew me you know what that would mean).

Right after watching the movie I ordered the full set on Amazon.com. I couldn't wait for my books so I went to Stephanie Meyer's website. I read all about her and how she started the books. I read the first pages on Amazon.com and finally my books came.

Photobucket
(note: This was with my phone -- so yes I know it's crappy, but I wanted it in my post and I took the books to my moms and I didn't have a camera.)

Why did was a bit of a big deal was that I don't read, but I ran through these books so fast, fast than I ever thought I could. I heard Meyer was writing a new book, not a fifth, but Twilight in the eyes of Edward. But due to some idiots it was leaked and now she is unable to finish the book. She posted what she has done so far online, but I'm scared to finished (b/c I am almost done) b/c then it will be over, unless she plans to finish it again.

This all led my to talk my mom into a trip to Forks (the place where Twilight is set), which is in Northern Washington. My mom and I went on a trip to Seaside, Or. and she mention the Olympic Rain Forest, which is near Forks. It was 4 1/2 hours away from our resort, but it was all worth it. I went to see all the "hot spots."
(Note: These aren't the real places in the movie b/c the filming was done in Portland and St. Helen's...But these are real spots in Forks Washington.)

Here are the photos of my trip (below the photos will be a list to note was each photo is):
