Here are the notes from the meeting from fellow member and Mary Kay consultant Sandie Gilbert.

Promoting Young Successful Thinkers

Young people today need direction and a focus for their life and future. As an example, Chris, himself, had no direction and didn't know what he wanted to do with his life. He began attending Successful Thinkers, but not participating. Now, he not only plays an integral part, he has become an ambassador, speaking to various groups to promote Young Successful Thinkers for high school, college and young adult individuals.

He states being an entrepreneur is an example of "owning one's life" as opposed to "renting one's life" while working for corporate America.

He believes he can influence young people by asking questions to begin thought provoking discussions.

- How can we help you today?
- What would be different in your life today if you had this experience at 18 years old?
- What was your dream as a kid?
- What one thing would you tell the next generation?

Some college students feel that as long as they complete their course work and earn a degree then a job is a given. In our society today, that is not to be taken for granted. One must either decide to become an entrepreneur or go after finding a job. You must "stick out in the stack" according to Chris. There are jobs for those who make the decision to be a go-getter.

After the presentation by Chris, Louise came up again to talk about mastery for Women, another group which links to Successful Thinkers. Kate (left) and Pilar (not photographed) are steeping away from lead ambassador of the Stockton Successful Thinkers to be the leads for the Stockton Mastery for Women, which began within this past month.

Below: Malia Cash-Taylor, who is stepping up at one of two lead ambassadors for the Stockton Successful Thinkers.

The final two shots are two ambassadors who are talking about the nine steps of Success and the One-on-One meetings.
