Envelope

So in the senior port class I got a broken lens and had to photograph the frustrations of being a photographer.

So my idea is to portray three different things that has happened to me

1. Dropping a lens on the ground.
2. Dropping the lens in the water.
3. Having someone tell you, you can't photograph in a certain area.

So with the broken lens I'm going to drop it while taking a pix, put it in water, and use my brother as the person kicking me out of somewhere. I'm going to put all three shots in one frame (duh), which is like some of the stuff I have been working on for the final portfolio.


My project is sports related, but I'm going to show different parts and aspects of sports....but will also include typical action shots.

Since it's late now I will post some photos up in a few days.

School begins

So school started for me yesterday, but those were the non-photo related classes. I had my first photo class today, which is senior portfolio.

The one thing I was the most nervous about was this project that the teacher has every year. The previous class puts objects or types something up and puts it in an envelope.....well I got a broken lens and a note saying to photograph all the frustrations of a photographer. Needless to say I'm not very excited about it.

Next week we have to bring 3-5 past photographs, a portfolio proposal and a book of another artist who has inspired me. Another needless to say I don't own any books yet so I'm going to go by the library to get me some books.....then I have to write a short paper of this artist.
