19th Annual Trix Run {Events}

I had a blast shooting the runners of the 19th Annual Trix Run during the Health & Wellness Family Festival at Lodi Lake on Saturday.

I have just few shots from the race here on the blog, but head over to our photo sharing page HERE to view and order any of the 501 images from the sporting event.

Take this opportunity to snag a shot of yourself or loved one during the race.

You may comment under the photo, but please email your orders at karyngilbert@yahoo.com with the image number (example: IMG_8835), the size you would like to order and the address to send the premium print(s). Please put Trix Run ORDER as the subject. After the email is received a fallow-up email will be sent out with total and address to sent payments.

Premium prints will be mailed within 1-2 weeks after payment has been received.

Due to the type of charity event we have special pricing, which is lower than regular prices.

Health & Wellness Family Festival {Events - Post}

I had a blast shooting at the second annual Health & Wellness Family Festival, which also included the 19th annual Trix Run.

 

Parents and participants will be able to view and order photos from the Trix Run starting Tuesday.

 

Parents of the "Mexican Dancers" can view and order photos of their children starting Thursday.

 

Today's post has some of the runners and some of the dancers, along with a few other things from the festival.  

 

But first just a few thoughts from one of the coordinators of the event:

 

"I thought the event went well," Said Heidi C. Coffee. "(We had) over 300 runners, over 80 booths, (and) good feedback that the community received lots of educational materials from local vendors. Many enjoyed the pancake breakfast before and after the run. Look for us again in 2013!"

Here are just a few shots of some of the runners from the day. 

 

 

Mr. Lucky Charms came out to play during the run. Last year we had the honey bee from Cheerios along with the Trix bunny.

This was the cutest dog and made me want my little Meeko there with me, but I knew he would have just been in the way. This little guy was my distraction to keep me busy while I was waiting for the runners to finished the 5K race.

And of course I had to take a shot of my niece Jewels with her tiger face.

Another thing for the children during the festival was pumpkin painting.

Introducing Baby T {Newborn}

One of my husbands former co-workers (well kind of -- they didn't work for the same company, but within the same area) just had a beautiful baby girl and I had the pleasure of snapping shots when she was just 13 days old.

 

During this shoot I had a few new ideas to try & props to use and Mommy was willing to let me go a new route with the shoot. I feel the shoot when great and we got some wonderful shots of the newest member of the family: Little Baby T.

Health & Wellness Family Festival {Pre- Event}

Join the fun at the annual Health & Wellness Family Festival and Trix Run on Setp. 22 at Lodi Lake.

KarynLynne Photography will take part in this event by photographing the runners of the 19th annual Trix Run and the rest of the festivities during the FREE event which takes place 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bring the family for run/walk, free health screenings, raffles, putting green fundraiser, face painting, balloon art and much more fun activities In addition to all the dun a pancake breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m. and costs $6 for adults and $4 for kids.

KarynLynne Photography is partnering with the Delta Humane Society for a limited edition photo session for your "furry family member." (All animals welcome) For just $20 and a bag of puppy or kitten food (any size) you will receive a 15-min sitting and a 5x7 premium print. Call to book your session by Sept 20 and you will be gifted a set of 8 wallets.

Throughout the day clients and anyone else who would like to stop by to donate may also partake in a raffle where 50% of the proceeds will go directly to the Delta Humane Society.

The spaces are limited so please call today to book your 15-min sitting (209-712-9958), and if you would like to just stop by and donate some puppy or kitten food & join the raffle you may stop by from 10 am. to 3 p.m. The photoshoot and raffle will take place at the Robinson Feed warehouse at 101 Lodi Avenue next to Tokay Tires in Lodi.
