New Projects {Letters - Joy}

So I've been working on some projects on the side and one will be collecting photos of every letter in the alphabet (some double letter so there might be a Christmas looking "O," for words such as "JOY" and normal "O" maybe for a family name.

My sample and the only letters I have so far in photographed below and can be purchased as a whole or each letter separately. Prices will be listed below and I will keep the blog updated once I have more letters.

Here are two samples of a way to view or set up the separate framed letters to form the word.

Pricing will go:

* $7 a letter for words with 3 letters or less

* $6 a letter for words with 4-5 letters

* $5 a letter for words with 6 or more letters

So the more letters for buy the cheaper they are apiece. If you would like something the the first photo shown in the blog it will be the normal print prices unframed.

Successful Thinkers {Event}

I was invited to come to a meeting with a group of small business owners called "Successful Thinkers."

It's a FREE networking group in Stockton on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Posted are some iPhone photos from last weeks meeting and quotes taken by fellow member Sandie Gilbert, a Mary Kay consultant.

The main idea of the group is "focus on people"

Other member ideas about being successful:

Phyllis -- Persistence and diligence.

Bev -- Stay the course.

Robert -- Don't be afraid to approach potential clients in new ways. Don't take NO from someone who can't say yes.

Danny -- Follow up.

Karen -- Love what you do.

Wayne (from the Elk Grove group) -- Don't let fear stop you and do the hard stuff first.

During his time at the podium Danny talked about his brother's book "You Can There From Here," by Bob Knowling.

After the speaker Kate came up to give some announcements.

The final part of the meeting is set-up for the small business owners to mingle together and set-up one-on-one time to get to know each other. Phyllis below brought out her phone which she uses as a calender to help set-up the one-on-one meetings.

Mommy & Me {Hughes}

I did another session at Hutchins with a mother and son.

We started close to sunset so we have some daylight shots and some with just the lights of the building with some fill flash.
