Valentine gift for James

For Valentines Day I got James and I some M&Ms with the "My M&M" (http://www.mymms.com/). It's a way to personalize the candies by putting your own words or even pictures on them.
I put "Karyn's <3 James" and "James <3 Karyn" on them.

Then....

I used the "studio in a box" he bought me for Christmas from Think Geek (http://www.thinkgeek.com/electronics/cameras-photography/a205/). I used it once before (also with candy -- kisses and M&Ms). Here's some of the shots I took the other day. I have the set-up shot on the bottom.

New Years Eve 2009-2010

Even though Jake's flash went off the same time I took my shot of the two of them I still LOVE it. It's my fave. shot from the night.

If I get time tomorrow I'll post some more shots from the time. If not here's the best of the night.

Testimonials: Caleb

Something I know I wanted to do was include photos from the shoot. Also the green for the name on the parents is from the green grass in the background of the photos.

I had the opportunity to shoot two really cute cousins this week. Here's day two of the photos.

I had the honor of photographing Caleb (and his cousin Mykah) this week. I went to their local park while they played with some of there toys, danced around with their parents, or just sitting while smiling.

Lodi Grape Festival photo contest winner

I won the contest and my photo is on the cover of the Lodi Grape Festival pullout.

Inside it has my name for the "cover photo" and a page with ten other photos (three of which are mine) inside the pullout.

I'm so excited I won. I plan to attend the festival on Sunday so I'll post some photos on my other blog. Also to come are Disneyland photos, which will be posted on both blogs.
