I had a jam-packed weekend -- Saturday was the Spring Shopping Bouquet (winner of the FREE session coming soon), which I left my booth early and maned by Sandie Gilbert with May Kay to head to a bridal shower, which was for a beautiful girl I used to go to high school with. AND Sunday I did a 5K run/walk with Page and Jewels in the Sacramento Zoo Zoom (some shots to come under "Sports").
The weather was great considering it was doom and gloom with thunderstorms, rain and hail literally the entire week prior to the shower. There were clouds bringing in shade every now and then, but it was bright and sunny day for the outside tea party themed shower.
Here were just a few shots from the shower as a sneak peek from the bride-to-be, her family and friends to see.
Above: The bride-to-be made a wishing tree, where guests got to put wishes, thoughts and congratulatory comments for the bride to read. She hand-made the tree and cards which were placed for the guests to write upon.
Below: The groom-to-be surprised the bride-to-be with an impromptu visit during his lunch hour and brought some flowers to brighten the day a little more.
Below: The night before the shower the bride-to-be baked and decorated two sets of coconut cupcakes and a beautiful (strawberry flowered) cake.
The purple hats were for the three flowers girls to go along with the theme. One of the girls left the hat near the desserts and I thought it looked pretty cute so I snapped a shot.
